Meaning he enter SG before 21 Mar 2020 and had no symptom of covid-19. So he is either a hidden carrier or he contracted covid-19 in SG and was discover yesterday or few days back. If he is hidden carrier, then he could have infected others as early as 21 Mar 2020 (or before). If he contracted the virus in SG, then where is the source? Prison or community? From Justice Lor: Very obvious MOH has slowed down the testing process deliberately to reflect lower number so that they can claim credits to say pandemic under control now. Of course, with lower number they can justify for GE to be called. From 20 January 2020 till now, only 576,189 (9.851%) of the entire population of 5,849,031 have been tested! At this rate, it will take them at least another 4 years 6 months to complete testing all of us! About 3 weeks ago 8 tested positive among 16,000 tested, i.e. 1 in 2,000. But since then the daily number of people tested has been kept STATE SECRET. From TheRighteousHand: The way the tests are conducted and the results reported is to attenuate the situation, making the figures look not alarming and everything is under control, which we know is not. If they test 25,000 people and only 250 are found to be infected the rate is 1 % . If however they test only 2,500 the rate would be 10 %. From KM: I am only interested at how many test did MOH do a day. ? I am sure u test 500 and if u test 5000, the results will be very different. Curiously no reporter ever ask how many test did MOH do every day.
