This will boost their market values. 2. Issue them certificates to thank them in fighting the COVID-19 with us in Singapore and staying safe. Let them show-off to all they know. 3. Automatic Work Permit renewal for X times if they have a clean record in Singapore. 4. Let them choose their bed locations in the dormitories. 5. From Edmund: As early as 12 Feb, there were 4 doctors who publicly stated that Covid-19 is NOT just another strain of flu since there were patients who carry the virus with them even though they show no symptoms. If the advisory from non-medical politicians was only for those showing symptoms to wear masks so that they don't infect others around them, then the official directive must have been changed at that point for everyone in S'pore to don a mask w/o delay. If the very large number of discharged patients in recent weeks (who may still test positive) is based on statistics of 11 days and can be sent home or to their dorms or hotels. There are reports of cases where the ‘recovered’ patients the virus hidden deep into their body can re-activate but whether can be infectious or not is not reported. What if these were to mix with asymptomatic carriers and lead to more community spreads? Wil CB be in force again? Those once profitable and borderline businesses will be closing shop by the thousands if this got dragged on for a few more weeks or in the next few months.
