Summary detail of All who passed on after contracted the deadly COVID-19 in Singapore: Case 90: 75-year-old Singaporean woman. The first patient was a 75-year-old female Singaporean with a history of chronic heart disease and hypertension. She was admitted to the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID) on 23 February for pneumonia, and was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on the same day, the ministry said. The woman had been cared for in the intensive care unit (ICU) since admission to NCID. She developed serious complications and eventually succumbed to the infection 21 March at 7.52am. She was linked to the cluster at The Life Church and Missions Singapore.
The deceased, Case 109, was admitted to Singapore General Hospital (SGH) on 29 February, and was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 2 March. Prior to hospital admission, he had gone to work at Fish Mart Sakuraya (154 West Coast Road) but had not served customers or handled food. He lived at Everton Park. He had been cared for in the intensive care unit (ICU) since he tested positive for the coronavirus. He developed serious complications and eventually succumbed to the infection after 27 days in the ICU, the MOH said. The man, who had no recent travel history to affected countries and regions, had a history of hypertension and hyperlipidaemia – an abnormally high level of lipids, especially cholesterol, in the blood. Causation of COVID-19 infection unknown!
Case 128 (passed away on 14 April 2020) is a family member of Case 125, and is linked to the cluster involving the private dinner function at SAFRA Jurong. Causation unknown!
Cases 161 (see item 9), a 73 year-old male Singapore Citizen, has passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection on 12 June 2020. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 9 March, and had a history of hypertension, hyperlipidaemia and chronic kidney disease.
Case 212: 64-year-old Indonesian man. The second patient was a 64-year-old male Indonesian with a history of heart disease. He was admitted in critical condition to the ICU at NCID on 13 March, after arriving in Singapore from Indonesia on the same day, the ministry said. He was then confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 14 March. He had been cared for in the ICU since 13 March. He developed serious complications and eventually succumbed to the infection 21 March at 10.15am. He had been in the ICU for nine days. Prior to his arrival in Singapore on 13 March, he had been hospitalised in Indonesia for pneumonia. Causation of COVID-19 infection unknown!
Case 476: The ministry said in a media release that the patient was a 68 year-old male Indonesian national who was a Singapore work pass holder, and had been in Indonesia from 20 January to 16 March. He died on Thursday morning at 6.43am. The patient was admitted to the National Centre for Infectious Diseases on 22 March, and was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on the same day. He had been cared for in the intensive care unit (ICU) since 26 March. He had a history of diabetes and hypertension, and developed serious complications. He eventually succumbed to the infection after seven days in the ICU. Causation of COVID-19 infection unknown!
Case 703 is a 58-year-old Singaporean woman has died from COVID-19 complications. The woman died on Thursday (30 April), the Ministry of Health (MOH) said in its daily update of coronavirus cases in Singapore on the same day. She was the youngest person to have died due to the infection in Singapore so far. She was previously confirmed on 26 March as an imported case with prior travel to Europe. At least two of her family members are also confirmed cases. Causation of COVID-19 infection unknown!
Case 855: The Ministry of Health (MOH) has confirmed that a patient has died from complications due to COVID-19 infection on Saturday (4 April) at 5.41am. This is the sixth coronavirus-related death in Singapore. He was an 88-year-old male Singapore permanent resident who had no recent travel history to affected countries and regions. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on Sunday (29 March), and admitted to the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID) on Monday. He had been cared for in the intensive care unit since Monday, but developed serious complications and eventually succumbed to the infection. The patient had a history of heart and kidney disease, cancer and diabetes. Causation of COVID-19 infection unknown!
Case 918: The Ministry of Health has confirmed that a patient has died from complications due to COVID-19 infection on Friday (3 April) at 1.55am. This is the fifth death related to the coronavirus in Singapore. The patient was an 86-year-old female Singaporean who had no recent travel history to affected countries and regions. She was admitted to the National Centre for Infectious Diseases on Tuesday, and was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on the same day. Causation of COVID-19 infection unknown!
Case 987, an 86-year-old female Singaporean, died from complications due to COVID-19 infection on Thursday night. She is linked to the cluster at the Lee Ah Mooi Old Age Home. She was admitted to NCID on 1 April, and was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on the same day. Causation of COVID-19 infection unknown!
Case 1071, an 84 year-old female Singapore Citizen, has passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection on 21 April 2020 night. She was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 2 April. Causation of COVID-19 infection unknown!
Case 1142, a 90 year-old male Singapore Citizen, has passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection on 11 April 2020 morning. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 3 April and was admitted to the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID) on the same day. Causation of COVID-19 infection unknown!

Case 1604 is a 32-year-old male Indian national, who died while awaiting test results for the virus. The long-term pass holder had been swabbed at the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID) for the virus on Tuesday and was advised to stay at home but had died at his residence the next day. He was confirmed to have the virus after his death, said the MOH. A chest X-ray indicated he did not have pneumonia and investigations are ongoing to establish the cause of death. Case 1836: It was reported on 13 April 2020 that “he is a 65 year-old Singapore Citizen, has passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection on 13 April 2020 afternoon. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 9 April. Khoo Teck Puat Hospital has reached out to his family and is extending assistance to them.” He was reported as an unlinked case. Till this day, the Causation of the COVID-19 contraction remained unknown.
Case 2728 is a 60 year-old male Singapore Citizen, has passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection on 1 May 2020. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 13 April, and had a history of hypertension and hyperlipidaemia. Causation of COVID-19 infection unknown!
Case 3145, a 95 year-old male Singapore Citizen, has passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection on 17 April 2020. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 13 April. Causation of COVID-19 infection unknown!
Case 3381: It was reported that this 80 year-old male Malaysian national, has passed away on 14 April from causes not related to COVID-19 infection. Under MOH’s enhanced surveillance, he had been tested for COVID-19 after his demise, and his test result came back positive. Causation of COVID-19 infection unknown!
Case 4689, a 73 year-old male Singapore Citizen, has passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection on 21 May 2020. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 17 April, and had a history of hypertension, hyperlipidaemia and hypothyroidism. Causation of COVID-19 infection unknown!
Case 4754, a 40 year-old male Malaysian national, has passed away on 18 April 2020. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 17 April. The cause of death was acute myocardial infarction with cardiogenic shock, and was not due to complications from COVID-19 infection. Causation of COVID-19 infection unknown!
Case 8190 died on 23 April 2020. He is a 46-year-old Indian migrant worker who died after being found at a staircase landing in Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH) on Thursday (23 April) had tested positive for COVID-19 prior to his death, said the Ministry of Health (MOH). Police said they responded to a case of unnatural death at KTPH at 7.29am and the man was found motionless at the staircase landing. He later died of his injuries. See item 8: Case 9682 passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection on 27 April 2020. He was an 81 year-old male Singapore Citizen, who was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 20 April. Causation of COVID-19 infection unknown!
Case 11714 (see item 11), a 41 year-old male Chinese national, has passed away on 4 June 2020. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 22 April. He had recovered from the infection, and was discharged on 17 May. He collapsed on 4 June and the Coroner has certified that the cause of death was massive pulmonary thromboembolism following SARS-CoV-2 infection.
Case 14744 (item 11) is an 86 year-old female Singapore Citizen, has passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection on 3 May 2020. She was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 27 April, and had a history of diabetes, hypertension and hyperlipidaemia. Causation of COVID-19 infection unknown!
See item 10: Case 16370, a 44-year-old male Bangladeshi national, has passed away on 5 May. He had been admitted to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital on 29 April and treated for a heart attack, and was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on the same day. The cause of death is acute myocardial infarction. Causation of COVID-19 infection unknown!
See item 9: Case 17168, a 62 year-old male Singapore Citizen, has passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection on 14 July 2020. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 30 April, and had a history of diabetes mellitus, hypertension and hyperlipidaemia.
See item 8: Case 17329, a 51 year-old male Chinese national, has passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection on 31 May 2020. He was diagnosed with lymphoma complicated by multi-organ failure while he had been warded in the intensive care unit in end-April. Despite being treated for lymphoma, his condition had deteriorated and he subsequently passed on. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 1 May.
See item 12: Case 17410, a 47 year-old male Bangladeshi national, has passed away on 1 May 2020. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection after his demise. The cause of death for Case 17410 is ischaemic heart disease. Causation of COVID-19 infection unknown! How can they be so sure that COVID-19 does not contribute to his death?
See item 9: Case 23550, a 53 year-old Indian national, has passed away on 9 May 2020. He had been sent to the emergency department at Sengkang General Hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest on 9 May. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 10 May after his demise. The cause of death is ruptured myocardial infarction due to coronary thrombosis. Causation of COVID-19 infection unknown!
See item 12: Case 23908, a 50 year-old male Thai national, has passed away on 12 May 2020. He had been sent to the emergency department at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital after suffering respiratory arrest on 10 May. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 11 May. The cause of death is cerebral haemorrhage. Causation of COVID-19 infection unknown!
See item 13: Case 24013, a 31 year-old male Indian national, has passed away on 10 May 2020. He had collapsed after complaining of chest pain while at his dormitory. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection after his demise on 11 May. The cause of death is coronary thrombosis. Causation of COVID-19 infection unknown!
See item 8: Case 28388, a 48 year-old male Indian national, has passed away on 23 June 2020. He had been sent to the emergency department at Singapore General Hospital after fainting in the early morning of 23 June at a temporary housing site for migrant workers. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 15 May, and had recovered from the infection. The cause of death was ischaemic heart disease.
See item 10: Case 38238, a 27 year-old male Bangladeshi national, has passed away on 25 June 2020. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 6 June. The cause of death was multiple injuries consistent with those resulting from a fall from height.
Case 39327 (see item 8), a 44 year-old male Indian national, has passed away on 8 June 2020. He had developed chest and epigastric pain on 28 May, and had sought medical treatment at a General Practitioner clinic. He was found unconscious at his place of residence on 8 June and conveyed to Singapore General Hospital’s emergency department. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 10 June after his demise. The cause of death was ischaemic heart disease.
See item 9: Case 45227, a 69 year-old male Singaporean, has passed away on 7 July 2020. He had been found unresponsive at his place of residence and was conveyed to Sengkang General Hospital's emergency department on 7 July. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on the same day. He had a history of diabetes mellitus, hypertension, hyperlipidaemia, hypothyroidism and chronic kidney disease. The preliminary cause of death is cardiorespiratory failure, pending further investigations by the Coroner.
See item 8: Case 47229, a 72 year-old female Singapore Citizen, has passed away on 15 July 2020. She had been conveyed to the National University Hospital’s emergency department on 15 July for reasons not related to COVID-19, and had a history of diabetes mellitus. She was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 16 July after her demise. The cause of death is intracerebral haemorrhage.
