Cases 12694 – 13624 (Govt. Web reported on 26 April 2020, after 22:30 SGT)

931 new COVID-19 Cases: 2 imported, 886 of the Cases are our Work Permit Holders staying at the Dormitories, 13 Singaporeans/Permanent Residents.

The following are provided by the Government Official website:

See the summary of the confirmed cases are in Annex A.

See the links between the Previously Announced & New Cases in Annex B presented by the Government Official Webpage.

See the above-mentioned! No detail of each case reported! And they still refused to tell us exactly how many new cases of Singaporeans are infected separated from the Permanent Residents!

Look here! They created new clusters and said many cases are linked to them, but till this day, for so many Cluster and Non-Cluster cases, they still have not identified where the COVID-19 sources came from! Those Big Bullies & their team continue to receive their world highest fat salaries but negative result is all we see!

We have studied all the Clusters and new cases they mentioned carefully; we have noted that all of them are of unknown COVID-19 Causations.

From Chatterbox: “This is the reason why Gov can't bring the dormitory operator's to task !!!

https://www.mom.gov.sg/newsroom/press-releases/2018/0913-dormitories-receive-awards-for-excellence-in-foreign-worker-housing-management

From Joe Low: “SG ambassador-at-large at MFA Chan Heng Chee said on 24 April in a CNBC interview Quote “when the first case of an infected foreign worker was found in the country on Feb 8, no one in the world knew about asymptomatic infections” Unquote. REALLY?

But in China, as early as January, it was already reported in the news asymptomatic carriers is present.

25 January: “New research on the Wuhan coronavirus has found the virus may be present in the lungs of individuals with no obvious symptoms

https://www.scmp.com/news/china/society/article/3047636/doctors-warn-china-coronavirus-carriers-may-show-no-symptoms

24 April: “no one in the world knew about asymptomatic infections”

From yahoooo: “Virus running and spreading faster then your testing! 2 months of cb will sure be extended since there were cases of “Singaporeans and PR”! And many new clusters which keep increasing! Miw never forgotten us by giving peanuts to local citizens to help surging these 60 days. Local citizens needs to buy food to feed the old and young, pay increased utility, internet, phone bills, town council etc since everyone confined at home. Malaysians get $50 and FW $100 daily + food + free WiFi and expensive medical care from miw. Local citizens are at the bottom level of their Priorities list. SAD! Too sad to have such leadership.”

From TheRighteousHand : “They are supposed to be scholars with brains. Question is, if a scholar uses his brain wrongly he is weaker than an Ah Beng who uses his brain correctly. Look at how the govt leaders are treating wearing of masks. If you are running (exercise) you do not need to wear mask. So, the implication is that the virus is very discriminatory. If it sees two persons together, one who is running and the other is walking or standing, it will not attack the one who is running but the other chap. Come on. Whether your exercise involves running or not you should wear mask. If you feel it unbearable to wear one and run then don't exercise. A runner who is not wearing a mask is also putting other road users at risk is he or she is asymptomatic.”

From Daniel:Will you pls step down if 1st june still need to extend circuit breaker?2 months no results simply means you are not suitable for the job. Just step down and relief us more sufferings.”

From Johnny: “Singapore is such a small country, yet managed until so messy! Laughing stock to the world!”

From PCK: “Singaporeans will happily support any on-line appeal to remove the useless Covid Task Force, since the virus has penetrated into HDB household with 17 Domestic Helpers infected. Actually we are in Code Red now. But Task Force is not accepting. Our old folks have become extremely vulnerable now. We cannot afford to lose our old parents to this virus.

Time to act. The Task Force has been doing damage control to protect themselves. But the cat is out of the bag now.

We must push for a new Task Force. We need Singapore experts like Professor Paul Thambyah, president of the Asia Pacific Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infection to come forward and LEAD the Task Force.

Importantly, a COI needs to be convened urgently before evidences are lost or coverup happens.

Singaporeans need to act NOW.”

From Native Singaporean: “Recent report in China, quote " a leading epidemiologist in China, warned the nation against falling into the same trap as Singapore did.", unquote. So in the eyes of China and rest of the world, is our leaders and government doing the right in the first place, taking into consideration of their experience in SAR epidemic ?????”

See item 8: Cases 1595 & 9682 have passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection on 27 April 2020. Case 9682 was an 81 year-old male Singapore Citizen, who was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 20 April. The National Centre for Infectious Diseases has reached out to their families and is extending assistance to them.

From Choo:

Dear PM LHL

Y u tell FWs u treat them as well as Singaporeans har ? I'm 64 year old Singaporean but u treat FWs better than u treat me leh. I got no pay bcos bosses say I too old here pain there pain. Then you don't give me 3 meals a day, no free Wi-Fi no Ramadan treats ,no hotel stay . U know price of things in Singapore or not ? $600 Santa Claus DPM give cannot pay for everything you know? U think my vote not gd is it?

Then your minister say I must hang flag to show soliwat and unifront but u never show soliwat and unifront with I 64 yr old Singaporean so y I must hang flag and show with u?

FWs can go back to own country and live gd life u know or not. I 64 yr old Singaporean got nowhere to go for HD life if I don't mati ...

From seniorcitizen:

Why PR and Singaporean counted together? PR at the end of the day, sell our HDB and take their CPF home. Can we be more transparent? PR are still FW or FT, not Singaporean. Unless somebody want to hide something.

(Note from Publisher: PR means Permanent Resident. FW means Foreign Worker. FT means Foreign Talent)

From RonaldT:

Didn't they know Covid 19 causes blood thickening and clotting which in turn lead to stroke and heart attack, why so quick to dismissed the man who died of heart attack is not due to Covid 19.

From LJ:

S11 dormitory generates approximately $70 million per annum in revenue being the largest COVID-19 cluster in spore who won a Dormitory Award in 2018. COVID-19 is an unprecedented event somewhat odd that the dormitory that was awarded just gold enough to win??

...Make sure they are heavily fine for not adopting good dormitories managing practice to enhance the quality of life of these foreign workers residents and continuous improve their welfare.

From Joe Low:

Save a few trees but sacrificed the whole forest….. MOM Minister Josephine Teo on 25 April (Sat): Quote “If we act fast, we're aware there's little time for employers to adjust. If we act too slowly, there is risk of wider transmission. This is the difficult trade-off" Unquote.

Just to save some employers from stop-work frustrations, is Jo Teo sacrificing the whole of SG and the 5.x millions population who are cooped up at home including tens of thousands other businesses that are halted too?

The majority of residents and businesses already into Circuit-Breaker since 7 April but surprisingly, many foreign workers continue to work as usual and it was only put to a stop on 22 April when the cases there exploded out of control, and that’s 16 days late.

The damages are huge. SG reputation is definitely tainted. Add to it, many resources including medicals, building structures, equipment, manning of sites, treatments, manpower and huge amount of public funds now have to pour in to stem the spread and stop anger and frustrations from these foreign workers. Isn’t this a short-sighted act? Just to save a few trees (some constructions firms) but now sacrificing the whole forest as most have to be in CB for another 1 month and billions $$ in losses?

Cases 14,423–14,951 (Govt. Web reported on 28 April 2020, after 22:30 SGT)

528 new COVID-19 Cases: All are locally transmitted. 511 of the Cases are our Work Permit Holders staying at the Dormitories, 7 Singaporeans/Permanent Residents.

The following are provided by the Government Official website:

See the summary of the confirmed cases are in Annex A.

See the links between the Previously Announced & New Cases in Annex B.

See how The New York Times (28 April 2020) reported concerning the Foreign Workers living in Dormitories! Dear PAP Rulers & Team, thanks to the COVID-19, now your “good deeds” of not ensuring acceptable accommodations for the workers are exposed! The Wise will never do anything which make themselves famous for the wrong reasons!

Check the Dormitory Operators involved. Any of their details here?

From Old left for dead:

Before clapping and singing over the low numbers today, do note that low numbers today is probably because the testing is stopped altogether in some hard-hit dormitories – see Dale Fisher comments in link below. Yet, MOH yesterday said that it has an “aggressive testing regime”. Somehow, it seems stop testing equates aggressive testing. Perhaps it is the same logic as don’t wear mask when other countries mandate its people to wear mask.

MOH also said it is “scaling up” its testing capacity to 8,000 cases daily and that it is testing 3,000 foreign workers daily. What of the remaining capacity for 5,000 tests is unexplained. Yet, in comparison, this testing capacity is lower than Malaysia which can conduct 13,000 tests daily. And Singapore supposedly boosts a world class health care system and high efficiency. Numbers don’t lie, although a lot of flowery language can be used to hide the thorny numbers.

https://sg.news.yahoo.com/singapores-bid-contain-dorm-outbreaks-081118289.html

From Joe Low:

When they ramp up the testing to 8000 a day, that is when the number going to surge and it will be a challenge to house all those infected. Huge tentages are already set up at Tg Pagar and Changi outside the Exhibition Halls are considered as the next alternative.

From Tan:

The virus alerts Singaporeans that our government is incompetent and ALL innocent Singaporeans have been victims and bear the pain also take all risk as ruling party will only fight for credit ( if any ) and is unwilling to take responsibility ,because of the incompetence of 4G leaders coupled with many failed policies that slowly destroyed Singapore that founded by our first generation leaders who are low paid but very shrewd and resilient to difficult problems .so i don't think you won't panic about the future of Singapore and our next generation ? At least you're scared now that the virus will make good friends with you or your family? Although you are a loyal supporter of the ruling party.

From Breeke:

In the early days, to avoid the economic disruptions brought about by lockdowns, someone came up with a brilliant strategy to create a fake illusion that they have brought the virus under control. The plan is to send everybody who first present onset of symptoms back home - without testing (hence avoiding adding to case numbers). Only for those cases that did not recover on their own, they finally test them after the 4th or 5th visit. They were only thinking of reducing case numbers, but completely neglected how these people they did not test + isolate would go on to infect god knows how many others. That single mistake was the foundation for today's tragedy.

From seah s:

In technical analysis, the infection rate has been going high each day until it reaches its peak and subsides and tries another new peak. So far infection rate has already tried a few peaks and it is time to slow down the infection numbers.

it looks like the infection at dorm is a scam as the testing numbers are low and the infected people show little or no severity in their health.

From Marcus:

If the local transmission continue to be less than 10 from TODAY onwards, it has proven 1 thing....mandatory wearing of mask HELPS! Our social distancing was implemented on 26 March without asking everyone to wear mask, CB was implemented on 7 on 7th April with PM say wearing of mask is not discourage. ONLY on the 14th wearing of masking is mandatory! 2 weeks had past & results had shown. If this is proven that wearing of mask helps, then MTF & PM should bowed & apologies on National TV to the whole of Singapore!

From Mass testing for Covid-19 pls...:

"disinfecting mobile robots which emit UV-C rays to eradicate viruses will also be introduced at Northpoint City"... The question is 'Can they use these robots at the dorms to further reduce spread among the FW'? If yes, what is stopping our high & mighty govt? Taskforce, pls do something proactive!
