Expat: I know 3 companies moved to Shanghai because of SG employment restrictions (11 October 2020)

Twitter replies https://twitter.com/tocsg/status/1315193166002294784

We are sure every Singaporean will agree with us: Foreign Companies & Investments are ALL welcome on the condition that they help our Singaporeans to create quality jobs!

We will put this question to the World: Will any of you be happy if a foreign company enters your Country and take with them at least 80-99% of the their own staffs to plough huge profits from your Country and make you 2nd Class citizens & deprived you of a proper job?

Even we propose to do quality work for other Country; we always suggest that at least 75-80% come from their local citizens in order to help them to create jobs! An ethical Entrepreneur will NEVER make huge profits at the expense of the livelihood or suffering of others! Well, unless such a person is morally reprehensible…

We welcome ALL Foreign Companies to Singapore to prosper and to help us prosper too! It should never be “1-way” only, which means EXPLOITATION! Leave if you like and Singapore doesn’t need people like these to exploit us! Any of you like treating Singapore like a gold mine? After digging all the gold & dump Singapore away? We would be better off without you around! Thanks. 8-D

Twitter replies https://twitter.com/tocsg/status/1314509824101617665

The COVID-19 in Singapore helps to expose the dark side of how people getting rich at an expense of others. If you are a Grab rider, please look for other jobs that will pay you fairly. Grab will be more desperate to retain you than you wanting to keep your job! If many of you leave, they will not be able to deliver the food promptly! Don’t like to pay equitably; then please do the delivery yourself! Let the smart Singaporeans help to boycott Grab & see how they will respond! Well, nice show coming up again! Welcome to beautiful Singapore to watch! 8-D
