111 (5 October 2022. Praise for God’s Wonderful Works. Audio) He is ever Mindful of His Covenant.

Word of God: ⁵ He provides food for those who fear him; he is ever mindful of his covenant. ⁶ He has shown his people the power of his works, in giving them the heritage of the nations. (Psalms 111: 5-6)

112 (6 October 2022. Blessings of the Righteous. Audio) Their hearts are firm.

Word of God: ⁷ He raises the poor from the dust, and lifts the needy from the ash heap  ⁸ to make them sit with princes, with the princes of his people. ⁹ He gives the barren woman a home, making her the joyous mother of children. Praise the Lord! (Psalms 113: 7-9)

Word of God: ² Judah became God’s sanctuary, Israel his dominion. ³ The sea looked and fled; Jordan turned back. ⁴ The mountains skipped like rams, the hills like lambs. (Psalms 114: 2-4)

God commands nature and they obey. In the Old Testament, they remembered how God delivered them from the Slavery in Egypt. In the New Testament, God sent His Son Jesus as Saviour for us; He struggled, He died on the Cross and resurrected to redeem us, it is good for us to reflect constantly.

It is better to rely and to trust in the Lord as He is faithful, His Steadfast Love and Mercy never end. He is All Wisdom, He has full knowledge on what is going to happen and He knows Everything. See Proverbs 3:5-6. The outcome of trusting Him fully is always beautiful.

Word of God: ¹ Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labour in vain. Unless the Lord guards the city, the guard keeps watch in vain. ² It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil, for he gives sleep to his beloved. (Psalms 127: 1-2)

Without the Blessings of God & His intervention, nothing takes place even with your hard work. Thus it is important to connect with God all the time even when we are working hard. God’s Grace + Human Hard Work = Nothing is Impossible!

128 ( 24 October 2022. The Happy Home of the Faithful. Audio) You shall eat the Fruit of the Labour of your hands.

Word of God: ¹ Happy is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways. ² You shall eat the fruit of the labour of your hands; you shall be happy, and it shall go well with you. (Psalms 128: 1-2)

“Fear of God” is obedience, respect of God and His commandments.  A person who has been working hard & diligent in his work/vocation will have peace of mind, he will avoid the sins as a result of idleness and other sins, he will enjoy the food on his table even it is simple food. One who has not been doing his responsibilities will cause his entire family to suffer.

129 ( 25 October 2022. Prayer for the Downfall of Israel’s Enemies. Audio) Like the Grass on the Housetops.

Word of God: ⁶ Let them be like the grass on the housetops that withers before it grows up, ⁷ with which reapers do not fill their hands or binders of sheaves their arms, (Psalms 129: 6-7)

Although Israel is always being afflicted but they are never destroyed, as God has always showered their special protection on the descendants of Abraham. Same here, the enemies that are persecuting us are just like the grass on the housetop, they don’t have long life, just temporary existing only and they just withers away in no time. So we will forgive them, speak to them gently and don’t get distress over them…

130 ( 26 October 2022. Waiting for Divine Redemption. Audio) Out of the depths I cry to You.

Word of God: ¹ Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord. ² Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications! ³ If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities, Lord, who could stand? (Psalms 130: 1-3)

Many have been drowned spiritually due to their sins and sinfulness in life. They will experience distress due to their sinfulness and evil tendencies. No self-redemption is possible and they need Divine assistance. They need to cry to God, get His help and fix the problem.

Word of God: ¹ O Lord, my heart is not lifted up; my eyes are not raised too high; I do not occupy myself with things too great and too marvellous for me. ² But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; my soul is like the weaned child that is with me. (Psalms 131: 1-2)

The more I empty myself, the more I will develop more Trust and Dependence on Jesus…

Our God has the ultimate Power on the Love & Peace of my personal life, All things & circumstances, so it is good to trust in Him so that we can feel complete in my personal life.
