Word of God: 17 Bread gained by deceit is sweet, but afterward the mouth will be full of gravel. 18 Plans are established by taking advice; wage war by following wise guidance. 19 A gossip reveals secrets; therefore do not associate with a babbler. (Proverbs 20: 17-19) 21 (Text, Audio. 8 December 2022) Whoever loves Pleasure will suffer. (Proverbs 23: 24-26 ) I can only receive Wisdom with a willing heart, when I open my heart and mind to God, my Creator, Father and Saviour. When I have God’s Wisdom, my eyes and eternal senses will connect to God, follow His Statutes & the eternal things beneficial to my salvation. 24 (Text, Audio. 11 December 2022) Partiality in Judging is NOT good. Word of God: 23 These also are sayings of the wise: Partiality in judging is not good. 24 Whoever says to the wicked, “You are innocent,” will be cursed by peoples, abhorred by nations, (Proverbs 24: 23-24 ) 25 (Text, Audio. 12 December 2022) Like a city whose walls are broken through is a person who lacks self-control. Word of God: 26 Like a muddied spring or a polluted fountain are the righteous who give way before the wicked. 27 It is not good to eat much honey or to seek honor on top of honour. 28 Like a city breached, without walls, is one who lacks self-control. (Proverbs 25: 26-28) A city without walls is the end of that city! Self-control is one of the fruit of the Holy Spirit. What we are controlling? Our impulses, emotions, feelings, thoughts & desires. If we are able to control them, then we can attain the higher goals of our personal life. We are not stopping our own growth, but we are allowing ourselves to flourish with long-term goals, happiness in our personal lives. If I have self-control, I am building a protective wall around myself. If not, I will end up being destroyed due to lack of self-control. Deliverance from Fear -> Read Isaiah 41 (audio). (Proverbs 26: 27-28) A wicked person normally has these 2 characteristics: lying tongue and flattering mouth. In the end, this person becomes the victim of his own sins. Let’s give sincere talk and be life-giving. 27 (Text, Audio. 14 December 2022) Let Another praise you. Do not be boastful. Word of God: 1 Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring. 2 Let another praise you and not your own mouth, a stranger and not your own lips. 3 A stone is heavy, and sand is weighty, but a fool’s provocation is heavier than both. (Proverbs 27: 1-3) 13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a town and spend a year there, doing business and making money.” 14 Yet you do not even know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. 15 Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wishes, we will live and do this or that.” 16 As it is, you boast in your arrogance; all such boasting is evil. (James 4:13-16) It’s good that I keep silent and let others speak of me based on my hard work and the good fruit that I produce in Christ. 28 (Text, Audio. 15 December 2022) One who confesses will obtain Mercy. (Proverbs 28: 12-13) A Righteous person lives with another Righteous will have joy and graces showering on them, but a wicked person lives with another wicked, they will hate each other and will not survive, because Evil won’t survive together, they will always fight, NO unity & NO happiness. Thus, it is good to repent, go for a good confession and receive God’s mercy. 29 (Text, Audio. 16 December 2022) If a ruler listens to falsehood, all his officials will be wicked.
